My Photography
I have been involved with photography, to some degree, all my adult
life. There just never seemed enough time to pursue the hobby beyond
taking those wonderful shots of family, vacations, the occasional
flower, etc. After retiring from Caterpillar, Inc., in Peoria,
Illinois and relocating to Clarksville, Tennessee, an “increment” of
time became available.
About three years ago, when encouraged to set out a bird feeder, my
response was, “What’s the point?” Since that first feeder was hung, I
have identified and photographed over 50 species of birds in my backyard
and the “point” became capturing colorful bird images and sharing them
with others.
A thoroughly enjoyable hobby has evolved. I have expanded my
photographic horizon well beyond the backyard.
I hope my images touch your emotions in a positive way and bring a quiet smile to your face. And, I urge you to use a camera to capture nature’s beauty... it is all around you!
